Description: The 2-hour examination for the ROCC® (Radiation Oncology Certified Coder) certification. Target Audience: The ROCC® is specifically targeted for the radiation oncology professional and assesses the proficiency level of anyone involved with the coding functions within a radiation oncology practice. Certification: Certification upon successful completion of the ROCC® examination demonstrates a core competency in radiation oncology coding skills, provides a self assessment for the individual, and enhances the professional status of the successful recipient distinguished with the Radiation Oncology Certified Coder certificate. ROCC® certification is valid for 2 years at which time recertification will be based on a repeat examination or evidence of continuing education in radiation oncology coding. Exam Prerequisites: A minimum of 6 ROCC® issued CEU’s are required to qualify for the ROCC® exam. These can be obtained through: ROCC® approved Web Courses (CEU's vary per course) ROCC® approved CD Courses (CEU's vary per course) ROCC® approved Seminars (CEU’s vary per seminar) Payment: The cost of the examination is $495 per person.
